Blumea Oil

Blumea (Wormwood Leaf)

Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, insect repellent, wound healing, expectorant

Product Description

Blumea oil, also known as Ainaxiang oil in Chinese traditional medicine, is steam-distilled from the fresh leaves and young branches of Blumea balsamifera, a robust aromatic shrub in the Asteraceae family native to Southeast Asia and southern China. The plant has been used for centuries in Miao and Dai ethnic medicine for treating respiratory conditions, skin infections, and as a natural insect repellent. Our Blumea oil is produced from wild-crafted and semi-cultivated plants in Guizhou Province, harvested before flowering when the volatile oil content is at its peak. The oil is characterized by a complex profile rich in borneol, camphor, and blumealactone. Fresure provides batch-certified Blumea oil suitable for pharmaceutical topical preparations, traditional medicine products, and natural repellent formulations.

What documentation do you provide with bulk orders?

Every shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the batch-specific chemical profile (GC/MS or GC-FID), physical parameters (specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation), and organoleptic assessment. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) is also provided. Additional documentation — including GC/MS chromatograms, pesticide residue analysis, heavy metal testing, and allergen statements — is available upon request.

What are the minimum order quantities (MOQ)?

Standard MOQ is 1 kg for most essential oils, with bulk pricing available at 5 kg, 25 kg, and 180 kg drum quantities. Contact our sales team for current pricing and availability for your required volume.
