Cassia (Chinese Cinnamon)
Warming, antimicrobial, digestive stimulant, circulatory tonic, natural preservative
Cassia oil is steam-distilled from the bark, twigs, and leaves of Cinnamomum cassia, a close relative of true cinnamon (C. verum) but with a distinctly stronger, spicier, and more pungent aroma due to its exceptionally high cinnamaldehyde content. Indigenous to southern China (Guangxi and Guangdong), cassia has been harvested for over 2,000 years and remains one of China's most important essential oil exports. Our cassia oil is produced from sustainably harvested trees grown under GAP certification in Guangxi Province. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of chipped bark and pruned twigs, yielding a reddish-brown liquid with an intensely warm, sweet-spicy character. Fresure supplies cassia oil in bulk for food flavoring, fragrance, oral care, and natural preservative applications, with batch-specific cinnamaldehyde content verified by GC analysis.

Cinnamaldehyde (75-90%), cinnamyl acetate, coumarin, benzaldehyde, salicylaldehyde, eugenol
Classic flavoring agent in baked goods, confectionery, chewing gum, soft drinks, and liqueurs. Natural antimicrobial for food preservation systems. Key ingredient in cola-type beverages and spice blends for processed meats.
Warm, spicy base note for oriental and amber fragrance compositions. Used in perfumes, colognes, scented candles, potpourri, and seasonal holiday fragrance products. Provides excellent fixative properties alongside clove and vanilla.
Broad-spectrum antimicrobial against oral pathogens (Streptococcus mutans, Porphyromonas gingivalis). Used in toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss coatings, and breath fresheners. The characteristic 'cinnamon' flavor is predominantly cassia-derived.
Traditional remedy for digestive complaints, cold symptoms, and circulatory support. Cinnamaldehyde demonstrates anti-diabetic potential through glucose metabolism modulation. Used in topical warming formulations and antimicrobial preparations.

Custom packaging and private labeling available upon request.
Store in tightly sealed, full containers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Cinnamaldehyde is reactive; avoid prolonged exposure to air to prevent oxidation and darkening. Shelf life: 2-3 years under recommended conditions.
Under recommended storage conditions — tightly sealed in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight — Cassia Oil remains stable for 2 to 3 years. Monitor for any changes in aroma, color, or viscosity before use in production batches.
Cassia Oil is steam distillation from the bark, twigs and leaves of a plant in the Lauraceae family. This method preserves the full spectrum of volatile aromatic compounds and bioactive constituents that define the oil''s therapeutic and sensory profile.
Every shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the batch-specific chemical profile (GC/MS or GC-FID), physical parameters (specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation), and organoleptic assessment. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) is also provided. Additional documentation — including GC/MS chromatograms, pesticide residue analysis, heavy metal testing, and allergen statements — is available upon request.
