Green Tea Oil

Green Tea (Camellia sinensis)

Powerful antioxidant, anti-aging, UV protection, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory

Product Description

Green tea oil is obtained from the cured leaves of Camellia sinensis through careful solvent extraction or supercritical CO2 extraction, capturing the delicate aromatic profile and bioactive compounds of the world's most consumed beverage (after water). Unlike the fixed oil from tea seeds (camellia seed oil), green tea oil is a volatile extract that contains the characteristic aroma compounds responsible for green tea's fresh, green, slightly floral scent, along with the antioxidant polyphenols (catechins) for which green tea is celebrated. Our green tea oil is produced from premium Longjing (Dragon Well) variety tea leaves cultivated in Zhejiang Province, harvested in early spring at the peak of aromatic development. Fresure supplies this sophisticated extract for premium cosmetics, natural fragrance, and aromatherapy applications.
