Essential Oil

Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus

Improves suppuration, acne and herpes; unclogs pores

Product Description

Eucalyptus oil is the most commercially important essential oil by volume globally, with China producing approximately 70% of world supply. Our eucalyptus is steam-distilled from the leaves and young twigs of Eucalyptus globulus (Blue Gum) and Eucalyptus radiata/citriodora variants, sourced from dedicated plantations in Yunnan, Jiangxi, and Guangxi provinces. The oil is characterized by a high 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol) content (>80% for globulus type), which determines its pharmaceutical grade. We supply multiple eucalyptus types including globulus (standard), radiata (milder, preferred for children's formulations), citriodora (citronellal-rich, for insect repellency), and dives (piperitone-rich, for industrial applications).

Improves suppuration, acne and herpes; unclogs pores

Chemical Composition

1,8-Cineole, phellandrene, etc.

Industry Applications

pharma

Pharmaceutical & OTC

The primary source of pharmaceutical-grade 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol). Used in cough syrups, lozenges, chest rubs, inhalants, and nasal decongestants. Listed in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia, and British Pharmacopoeia. Cineole is an approved active ingredient for the treatment of acute bronchitis, sinusitis, and COPD.

industrial

Industrial & Cleaning

A major raw material for the production of disinfectants, industrial degreasers, and solvent formulations. Used as a flotation agent in mineral processing, particularly for sulfide ores. The high cineole content provides natural antimicrobial action in cleaning products.

cosmetics

Aromatherapy & Personal Care

The essential oil for respiratory blends—combined with peppermint, tea tree, and lemon for steam inhalation and diffuser blends during cold season. Used in shower gels, bath salts, sauna infusions, and sports massage oils for its cooling, decongestant effect.

fragrance

Fragrance & Flavor

Used at low levels in functional fragrances (particularly masculine and sport-themed products) for its fresh, clean character. Cineole-rich fractions are employed as flavoring agents in oral care products (mouthwash, toothpaste) and confectionery at ppm levels.

Blending Suggestions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the shelf life of

Under recommended storage conditions — tightly sealed in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight — Eucalyptus Oil remains stable for 2 to 3 years. Monitor for any changes in aroma, color, or viscosity before use in production batches.

How is Eucalyptus Oil extracted?

Eucalyptus Oil is steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of a plant in the Myrtaceae family. This method preserves the full spectrum of volatile aromatic compounds and bioactive constituents that define the oil''s therapeutic and sensory profile.

What documentation do you provide with bulk orders?

Every shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the batch-specific chemical profile (GC/MS or GC-FID), physical parameters (specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation), and organoleptic assessment. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) is also provided. Additional documentation — including GC/MS chromatograms, pesticide residue analysis, heavy metal testing, and allergen statements — is available upon request.

What are the minimum order quantities (MOQ)?

Standard MOQ is 1 kg for most essential oils, with bulk pricing available at 5 kg, 25 kg, and 180 kg drum quantities. Contact our sales team for current pricing and availability for your required volume.

Do you offer samples for evaluation?

Yes. We provide complimentary 10–30 mL samples of most products for qualified B2B buyers to evaluate quality, aroma, and suitability before placing bulk orders. Sample requests are subject to availability and shipping costs may apply. Request a sample through our contact form.
