Lavender Floral Water
Calming, skin balancing, sunburn relief, minor wound care, linen spray, stress relief, mild antiseptic
Lavender hydrosol (lavender water) is the aromatic aqueous co-product from the steam distillation of Lavandula angustifolia flowering tops for lavender essential oil. As the world's most popular essential oil, lavender generates substantial hydrosol as a distillation co-product with its own distinct and valuable therapeutic profile. While lavender essential oil concentrates the lipophilic terpenes (linalool, linalyl acetate), the hydrosol captures the water-soluble aromatic and therapeutic compounds, resulting in a product that is simultaneously gentler than the essential oil yet carries the true, fresh floral character of the living lavender flower — a more delicate but arguably more authentic lavender aroma. Our lavender hydrosol is produced from lavender cultivated at 1,500+ meters in Xinjiang Province, where the high-altitude, sunny, dry conditions produce premium lavender with excellent ester content.

Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool, dark place. Hydrosols are preservative-free; refrigerate after opening and use within 3-6 months. The lavender aroma evolves subtly over time as the contents mature but eventually degrade. Shelf life (unopened): 12-18 months refrigerated; 6-12 months at room temperature. Monitor for any off-odors or visible microbial growth.
Under recommended storage conditions — tightly sealed in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight — Lavender Hydrosol remains stable for 2 to 3 years. Monitor for any changes in aroma, color, or viscosity before use in production batches.
Lavender Hydrosol is steam distillation (co-product) from the fresh lavender flowering tops of a plant in the Lamiaceae family. This method preserves the full spectrum of volatile aromatic compounds and bioactive constituents that define the oil''s therapeutic and sensory profile.
Every shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the batch-specific chemical profile (GC/MS or GC-FID), physical parameters (specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation), and organoleptic assessment. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) is also provided. Additional documentation — including GC/MS chromatograms, pesticide residue analysis, heavy metal testing, and allergen statements — is available upon request.
